Utilising Digital Gamification to Promote Academic Integrity and the Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence in a Virtual Space

To develop educational resources on academic integrity and the ethical use of AI across diverse subject areas;

To design gamified elements in a virtual space that incorporate various educational resources on academic integrity and the ethical use of AI;

To enhance students’ awareness and reflection on academic integrity and the ethical use of AI through immersing them in a digitally gamified virtual space.

Leveraging Metaverse for Promoting Data Security and Privacy Awareness

To develop a series of interactive and engaging educational materials to enhance the understanding of data security principles and data privacy policies.

To design and implement a dynamic and user-friendly online platform to host the educational materials, facilitating easy access and learning for target audiences.

To integrate the online platform with Moodle LMS to provide a seamless learning experience for staff and students, enabling the awarding of digital certificates upon completion of different stages of the module.

To organise outreach activities to engage with the EdUHK Academic community and promote data security and privacy.

Enhancing Students' Digital Competency by Developing Interactive and Immersive Educational Games in VRCAVE

This initiative aims to leverage immersive VR technology to deepen student engagement and enrich their learning outcomes across various subjects, aligning with the themes of Al, Education Technology, and e-Learning in Education. By utilizing panoramic videos and the, 360 Designer application, students can design their own VR educational packages, incorporating story content, navigation, multimedia effects, and interactive elements. This project not only enhances their understanding of the curriculum but also equips them with essential skills in VR content creation. This approach is expected to foster a greater sense of creativity and innovation, preparing students for the demands of a technology-driven future.
